Compatibilities
LightProbes™ are a unique, patented means of testing
LEDs on circuit-boards in the context of ATE board test
where circuit-boards are installed in test fixtures coupled
to ATE systems such as H-P 3070. LightProbes were specifically
designed to probe and test LEDs on circuit-boards in order
to check color and intensity with the same ATE used to
probe and test the electrical functions of integrated
circuits, thus completing automatic test of the circuit-board.
Moreover, LightProbes are just as compatible with the
test equipment used to test LEDs as components before
being soldered on circuit-boards, as well as finished
products incorporating various kinds of lamps and display
devices.
