Customer Service and Solutions
Our 20 years of excellence is based on 20 years of customer service world-wide. We understand that LED test requirements are ever-changing and that no two applications are alike. We constantly strive to provide the best solutions. Our technical expertise combined with a customer service oriented staff, ensures that our customers' requirements are fully understood. Our goal is to find LED faults before your customer does.
Universal LightProbes have been developed to provide accurate color and intensity test of LEDs - from any of the five main LED visual colors (red, green, blue, orange and yellow/amber plus white), or any LED color wavelength within the visual spectrum, and from bright to not-so-bright - we have the right LightProbe to suit your requirements. Browse our selection of sensors and fiber-optic probes, or use our sensor and fiber-optic probe selection charts to find the right product for your needs. You may also want to review our page of Frequently Asked Questions. If you cannot find a LightProbe that suits your needs, we may be able to fulfill your requirement with a custom order.
Universal LightProbe Features:
Small Size: Universal LightProbes have one of the smallest sensor and fiber-optic probe sizes on the market for the test of LEDs, accommodating today's densely packed fixtures and closely-spaced surface-mount LEDs. Our wide variety of probe tips support the test of almost any configuration of LEDs in in-circuit test (ICT) fixtures and automatic test equipment (ATE) as well as in finished products.
Fast Overall Test: Our unique technology reduces overall LED test time by eliminating the time required for wavelength conversion, providing one of the most efficient methods of automated testing (ATE) of LEDs available.
Cost effective:
Universal LightProbes are competitively priced, and for many ATE LED test applications, our Trident configuration may be applied, enabling the sequential test of three LEDs with a single sensor.
Versatile and Durable
Universal LightProbes operate at any voltage, from +5 to +40 volts, and withstand reverse polarity voltages up to -18 volts, thereby preventing damage from accidental power supply wiring mistakes, while operating from the different D.C. supply voltages commonly encountered in the industry.
Easy to install
Universal LightProbes are easy to install. Optomistic Products offers clamps for easy installation - or choose from several of our fiber-optic probe styles that support the sensor without the use of clamps.
