Closely-spaced LEDs
When the spacing between LEDs is very tight, Optomistic Products offers a range of 1.2mm diameter fiber-optic probes with non-contacting tips, including the popular Trident, which allows the sequential test of three LEDs with a single sensor - at a significant cost savings.

Refined Intensity LED Measurement
For the most refined intensity measurement, probes with insulated, contacting spring-tips eliminate variations in intensity output that can be caused by differences in the working distance between the LED and the probe tip.

Testing Dim LEDs and Compensating for Misalignment Errors
Wide aperture fiber-optic probes, which allow four times the amount of light input as small-aperture probes, compensate for dim LEDs and potential misalignment errors in ATE test. Also great for testing finished-product displays such as illuminated switch alpha-numeric icons. The wide-aperture fiber-optic probes are available with or without insulated, contacting spring tips.
